A while back I went to Fire and Stone in Covent Garden, a modern take on a pizzeria, with each pizza inspired by cities from around the world. I wanted to try out one of their new promotions which caught my eye.. the 'Bottomless Prosecco Deal' - I mean Pizza & Prosecco what could be better than that?!

There is a set menu for this deal, for £25 you get two courses or you can opt for three courses for £30. My friend and I opted for two and I'm so glad we did as after we were finished I was so full! For the main we both went for the Naples, which is your standard margarita. There was 7 Pizzas to choose from, with more interesting toppings such as the London, which had cumberland sausage, streaky bacon, roasted cherry tomatoes, portobello mushrooms, mozzarella & soft runny egg. Some did look appealing but margarita's are my fave so I couldn't resist. It was a good ratio of cheese to tomato and on par with some of the pizzas I'd had in Italy. For dessert we went for the homemade chocolate brownie with chocolate sauce & madagascan vanilla ice cream.

This year me and my friends decided to book a brunch for our annual Christmas meal. After doing some research we booked Bourne & Hollingsworth Buildings based in Clerkenwell London.

As soon as you enter it's no surprise this is known as an 'instagram-worthy' spot in London. It has a relaxed, inviting atmosphere with mis-matched chairs, white walls & lots of plants. They were everywhere, hidden in corners and hanging from the ceilings. We were seated in the beautiful conservatory.

Inspired by the 20th anniversary of Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone the St Pancras Renaissance Hotel created a cocktail menu called 'Elixirs and Potions'. Although it wasn't officially linked to Warner Bros & Harry Potter, we thought we'd go along to check it out!

Last month one of my best friends completely spoiled me for my birthday by treating me to the 'Chocoholic Afternoon Tea' at the Hilton on Park Lane. It was such a thoughtful idea as it meant we got to spend some quality time together & as you may have gathered by now, I love an afternoon tea!

The afternoon tea is served in the Podium bar & restaurant, which has big floor to ceiling windows so the room was very light and airy. The room itself is decorated very 'hotel like'.. I've been to other afternoon tea rooms within hotels and they have put a lot more thought into the decoration of the room so it creates more of an atmosphere, but it was still nice nonetheless.

For Mothers Day earlier this year my sister and I treated our Mum to an afternoon tea at Fleur de Thé at Danson House in Kent. It opened earlier this year and we thought it was the perfect excuse to go see what it was like!

Danson House is a grade I listed building based in Bexley. The tearoom is located at the back of the building with lovely views over Danson Park. It was beautifully decorated in a shabby chic vintage style and also had things for sale such as china used, trinkets and candles which we enjoyed looking at after we'd finished the afternoon tea.
